Hiya, Over on the Silhouette UK Blog today I have a 3D project using Silhouette Cork Sheets to decorate these cute Bunny Baskets (#76181) from the Silhouette Design Store.
They are great for egg collecting, and pretty enough to use as decoration too.
I cut the bunny panels from adhesive cork sheets, added fluffy pom-pom tails, and some additional floral decorations (#121568, #251053).
My post over on the Silhouette UK Blog has details on the customisations I added to these baskets as well as instructions for cutting the cork sheets (including cut settings).
Here are some projects I've made previously with the cork sheets. Just click a photo to visit the project.
Cork gives a great added texture to cards and home decor projects. Have YOU used cork accents on your projects? What have you used it for (do share)?
Adorable little baskets. Creative Blessings, Tracy x

Thank you Laine - I'm so happy to be crafting in bright, spring colours again!
DeleteI've not used cork before, but I have tried some makes with hessian and sisal on. To be fair, I didn't even know you could buy cork for crafting! These are lovely baskets, the bunny is super cute and the cork goes really well with the other details.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting Lauren. The adhesive cork sheets are one of my favourite specialist media; lots of texture, a natural material, lightweight, and easy to use.
DeleteOh wow Janet they are stunning I love them. They are just waiting to be filled with Easter eggs they are delightful. Have a great weekend. Take care. Hugs Jackie
